The leading Nebbiolo producer from the terraced vineyards of Carema, Ferrando also makes a benchmark interpretation of the white Erbaluce grape from a bit further south. Grown here since Roman times, a typical Erbaluce is crisp, clean, fresh and easy. This is NOT "typical," in that it's nicely rich in texture and loaded with layer upon layer of ripe stone fruit laced with mountain herb and grated ginger root. Finishes long and mouthwatering with hints of marzipan, peach and herb. A fantastic cool-weather white.
